St. Patricks Day dress up

Well we usually do not celebrate St. Patricks Day but in my younger days it was an excuse to out and drink green beer. But now that there are grandchildren we don't do that anymore instead I bought hats and necklaces for the girls to dress up in.

New Blog

Well I just started a new blog offering free 8x8 digital layouts for scrapbooking. It Tlg's 8x8 layouts and I have posted my first layout for St Patrick's Day. I am also working on a links to digital scrapbooking sites.

Race rain out

Well it looks like there was no Nascar this weekend and I was looking forward to watch the race in California. They got a few laps in and thats it and I saw the big wreck that Casey Mears had and Dale Jr. along with some more cars because there was still water on the track.

New Layout Number 2

Well I got rid of the poinsettia layout since Christmas is over and added a jewel lilac layout. The tiles and embellishments are from the sew and sew frost bite created by Macatelier and purchase at Renderosity.

Where Have I Been

Since my last post I got very sick and after I got well I got a bad reaction to the medicine but I am feeling fine. Back to work and blogging. I am getting ready to start another blog offering free 8x8 layouts for digital scrapbooking. I can't wait to get that started.

Best Christmas

Well I have to say that this has been one of the best Christmas holidays I have had. For starters my husband and me did not get into an argument this time like we usually do about something for the holidays and our girls, their boyfriends, and the grandchildren enjoy all of their presents and everyone stay late. Of course the hit of the holiday was the wii and everyone enjoy playing that including my husband. All in all it was one of the greatest Christmas yet to remember. Will have photos following shortly.

Busy Weekend

Well my weekend started Saturday Morning after I got off of work and had to make two casseroles. After that I had a 3 hour nap before going to my mother's house for our christmas dinner at 5. After the dinner I took 3 of the grandkids back home with me to spend the night and they stay with me most of Sunday. Now it's Monday and I have a long work week ahead six days straight. That happens when you work in retail for the holidays.

I was able to add a third column to my layout. At least it looks alright on my end. I also ran across a site with some cool widgets at the widgetbox.

Finish The Christmas Shopping

Well I believe I have finish my Christmas shopping until next year. I got my husband a camera that you put in the woods to see if there are any deer there but I believe you could also get some cool nature pictures as well I hope. I also bought the new Harry Potter DVD. Can't wait to get the chance to sit down and watch it.

Lazy Sunday

Well today was just a lazy day for me. I didn't do nothing but lay on the couch and watch tv. I caught up on all my recorded shows from tivo and took a couple of naps. I should I gotten my butt out today because we had some unseasonably warm weather today. I think it was in the 80's today.

Trouble Daughter

At 4:00am this morning my daughter came home because her and her boyfriend got into a fuss because she went out to the bar with her girlfriends and lost the keys to the car and of course he was drunk to and when she came home and told him about the keys he had a fit and throwing thinks slamming doors so she call my other daughter to come get her and she came to my house to stay. Well they made up but the car still at the bar until she gets some keys made.

The Tin Man

Well thanks to tivo I finally got to sit down and watch The Tin Man and I really enjoy it. It was a little on the dark side but was really good. I love the part where Dorothy Gale held the emerald and when dj went to get it she was taken back to the black and white part of the wizard of oz.
and in the end the witch melted again. And dj got her sister back and everyone was reunited with their families. Great show.

So So Sleepy

Well for the past few days I haven't had but about 5 hours of sleep each day the 20 yours of sleep total for the week and now its Friday and I can barely keep my eyes open. I so wanted to work some more on the blog but don't think that will be happening. So after the post it's time for bed.

Survey on Christmas Lights

I added a survey on which Christmas lights people prefer. I was thinking back when I was a child we always had the multi color lights and mix and match Christmas ornaments. Then one day my Mother decides she wants white lights, red bows and red apple on the tree. Well ugh I wanted the tree like it always was but she did it and it was a pretty tree. When I got married and had children we always use the multi color lights and different kind of ornaments. As I got older and the children got older I decided I wanted to change to all white lights and gold and burgundy ornaments and of course the kids were not up to that even this year when we were putting up the tree my daughter still wanted to hang her hello kitty ornament on the tree, so I gave in and put all the non matched ornaments on the back of the tree. I guess I need another room so I can have two trees but then I would have to take all that stuff down and pack it back up ugh.
